Hello, just wanted to get some insight into the Lake Worth campus of PBSC's RN program. What is your personal experience with it? Good or Bad? How are the professors? Do you feel confident with the training that your are receiving there? Are you shown respect as a student? What about those who finished the program? How was your experience with obtaining your licensure and finding work? What about the N-CLEX?
Thanks! :)

Hello,
I was just accepted to PBSC RN program and will be starting in two weeks for the 2014 Fall semester, so I can't say too much about the program itself as it has not started. However, I can say that upon admission, the communication for further acceptance requirements has been very disorganized. There has been much confusion as to what is expected for newly admitted students. For example, the acceptance e-mail notifies students that we can buy scrub uniforms from the uniform store, Uniform Advantage, yet a few weeks later we are informed that scrub cargo pants can only have one pocket instead of two, which are the type of pants the store sells. Also there has been much discrepancy about shot records. The e-mail informs students that only two shots records (Hepatitis and Tetorifice) expire and need to be updated. We later discover that any other shots administered later than 10+ years require titers or revaccination. None of this was included in the e-mail. There has been much miscommunication, and I'm hoping this is not representative of the program itself.
