Hi Everyone! Does anyone attend this school for their ADN program? Their program is newly accredited and the first cohort started beginning of this year so they don't have NCLEX results posted yet. I was trying to see if there are any reviews but I couldn't find anything. I am currently in the application process for their next cohort in March 2021. I feel so defeated about waiting to get into a CC ADN program. I am still applying and on 2 waitlist but I'll be waiting 2-3 years or maybe even longer. I attended Pacific College information session and found that for the cost and schedule it would be best for me. I just was unsure about how the program since it's new. The cost would be about 80-85k for BSN. I feel like I've waisted so much time and just want to finish my RN already. Does anyone else feel conflicted about going to a private or CC ADN program?

Hi! I’m also starting here in march 2021 and trust me I felt the exact same you did. What made me finally just bite the bullet was when I was applying to all these CC’s they said that they were not taking new applicants or cohorts until next year so forget that. I’m not wasting anymore time waiting to apply with no guarantee I’ll be even to start anywhere. Such a waste time is money!

I’m also staring in March at pacific college. I spoke to a student that goes there she’s 6months deep in the program and she loves it. She said that the professors are super helpful during the online sessions. So she’s had a good experience so far.

Hi Jenny! How has Pacific been? Contemplating applying for the next start date but no info on the program since it’s fairly new.. accreditation looks good but I’m skeptical since the school is unknown and there’s no true info from students online about it. Any insight would be appreciated ?

Hi! So far it’s been great! That’s how I was also about this school kind of unsure. But, after I was accepted our Second week of school we got to volunteer at the la galaxy vaccination site which was super cool to be apart of. We have been going to clinical once a week, skills/lab once a week and theory online zoom. I really like how they try to accommodate everyone’s schedule for clinical and skills. Only thing is that if u work your job needs to be flexible, bc of covid there some last min changes to clinicals which is common right now with a lot of nursing schools. They do provide all of the ATI books, lots of studying, our instructors also teach at cal states so we are definitely getting cal state level lectures. Instructors have been awesome and really helpful. Overall I’m happy with the school. Hope this helps!

Hey Jenny!
My name is Nancy, I am planning to attend this program in 9/2021. I have not submitted all the required documents yet. It's a total big investment in any school we choose when it comes to private college. I wanted to know after months deep in the program, how are you doing in there since you last commented a month ago stating its been great? LOL do you still feel the same? Are the staffs truly helpful? Can you tell me how the 1st month schedule looks like? Have you started clinicals yet by any chance?
hi nancy
you need to be very flexible for schedule changes. school is new so it is kind of unorganized . I know how kaiser is when it cme to time off. good luck to you

Hey Lucy,
thanks for the heads up!
Hey Nancy,
I am looking into Pacific RN program for next month but am very hesitant since its new. I also heard from one of the members of your cohort that its basically self taught and very unorganized.. would you recommend? Any additional tips would be greatly appreciated since theres not much info about the program ?

Hi does anyone attend this program currently? I am looking to apply but the info on their website is confusing. I filled out an application but don't know where to send transcripts or my resume to.
