  1. I'm in Cohort 4, we just started our second semester. Covid policies have made everything chaotic with hospitals cancelling student rotations and/or switching days of clinicals. What I will say is the program has the right people in charge at the top, they actually care. It's a strange time to be in any nursing school, lot of uncertainty due to the constantly changing Covid policies. Theory right now is 9-12 on Tuesday for med surg with a one hour break, then you go 1-4. Clinical days and locations depend what group you're in.
  2. Appreciate the advice, very helpful. I have a bachelors so its either applying to ABSN out of state or finding a private ADN like Pacific (as you mentioned its one of the only ones around). My friend thats in the last semester went to Santa Ana College for the first 3 semesters but dropped out due to a family death. She had to finish her last semester at Pacific and says the quality of learning is much, much worse than what they get at Santa Ana college. If you have any other tips or information about the program, your professors, or the school in general, Id appreciate any advice:) Not much info online since its a new school, so these couple Allnurses form are all I got. Thanks again.
  3. I am looking into Pacific RN program for next month but am very hesitant since its new. I also heard from one of the current RN students its basically self taught and very unorganized.. would you recommend? Any additional tips would be greatly appreciated since theres not much info about the program. No NCLEX scores and bad reviews make it hard to commit, but hoping for positive feedback .

  6. Hi Jenny! How has Pacific been? Contemplating applying for the next start date but no info on the program since it’s fairly new.. accreditation looks good but I’m skeptical since the school is unknown and there’s no true info from students online about it. Any insight would be appreciated ?
