Pace University Nursing

Is anyone currently in Pace University School of Nursing, or does anyone have any additional information on the school itself for me? I called yesterday about the program and one has to take the GRE to enter the program. Please advise.

When I spoke to the admissions rep, I was told that the two year track you have to go up to pleasantville. If you are in the 12 month accelerated, you stay in Manhattan. I applied to Pace, but I got accepted somewhere else so I plan to go there instead of waiting for Pace to decide whether or not I am accepted or rejected.

MY UNDERSTANDING WAS THAT THEY HAVE 2 SEPARATE (BUT SUBSTANTIVELY THE SAME) PROGRAMS: ONE 12-MONTH ACCELERATED STARTS IN NYC EVERY SEPT AND THE OTHER 12-MONTH ACCELERATED STARTS IN JANUARY IN PLEASANTVILLE....I WASN'T AWARE THAT THERE IS ANY "CROSS-FERTILIZATION" BETWEEN THE TWO LOCATIONS, THOUGH...DO THEY MAKE THE NYC PEOPLE HIKE UP TO WESTCHESTER (AND VICE-VERSA??):angryfire

Thanks--I'm also waiting to hear from Pace--they claim to have rolling admissions, but I applied back in April and still haven't heard--do they have a reputation for taking a long time??? If I don't hear soo, I'll be starting the Downstate Accelerated BSN on June 1.
