Pace University ABSN Fall 2021

Hi everyone, decided to start a thread for the Fall 2021 cohort since one wasn’t created yet. (Super early, I know LOL) I was accepted for Fall 2020 but decided to defer. Would love to connect with those who’ve applied/been accepted.

Hey! Congrats! What a great feeling! I would say Hunter if it was me. Hunter is way cheaper and it is public, it will open doors for many city jobs. It is also super hard and competitive to get in, you should feel proud.

I didn’t get into Hunter yet! Right now I got accepted into Phillips and Pace. I think I’m gonna put the deposit down for Phillips cause it’s a little cheaper than Pace, but I’ll kiss the deposit goodbye if I get into Hunter!

Thanks guys! I guess it did mean something cause I heard back! Unfortunately, I was waitlisted. Pace isn’t my top choice but it definitely makes me nervous about my other applications. Good luck to everyone! I hope you all hear back soon

Congrats to those who have been accepted! Did those who were accepted receive an email stating that you were accepted or was it on your portal? Also are they doing interviews at all?

I'm sorry to hear that! I know someone who had been waitlisted and then accepted to another of Pace's programs. Don't give up hope! Especially when it comes to your other applications! Good luck! I really hope you get accepted to your top choice!!

After looking into both programs, I’m going to go with Stony Brook instead of Pace. Good luck to everyone waiting for their decision!

Im so sorry to hear that, but its better than a rejection. It also has me doubting now, you have really good stats. I know you applied to NYU, did you apply anywhere else? Pace is good at telling you where you stand on their waitlist, and most peopke are good on this forum to let you know when they get off waitlist.. 

Pace is my top choice, as its cohort is a bit smaller than other places, the tuition is a bit lower and the pace is faster. However Mercy has me going bonkers getting my high school transcripts together (high school was 16 yrs ago for me, and in a foreign country) soo im shrugging them off as my last choice. I have heard about people though getting into NYU and being rejected from Pace. So, cross fingers!

Do you know if they still accept people after they start putting people on the waitlist based on last year?
