Anyone been or currently in the program that can share what their experience has been thus far?

Yes, decided on CMSV! Just finishing my 3rd semester. It’s challenging just like any other FNP program. So far it’s going well for me. I hope this is helpful

thank you so much for your reply. I have a hard time making the decision to go Utica or CMSV. By any chance, is the CMSV an online program or on-campus? How many times do you have to attend campus each semester? greatly appreciated it. And good luck with your study!
Hello
They have It set up that you can select 2 classes on the same day or you can do 2 evenings or 2 days.
first class starts at 3p
second class starts at 6pm.
semester 1 : research (thesis) and theory (fall)
semester 2: research 2 ( completion of thesis) and pathophysiology (Spring)
Semester 3: ethics and pharmacophysiology (Summer) only available 1 day …. Very long class thst each class runs for 4 hours ?

Very much appreciated all the info, It really help me to make decisions. I hope you all the very BEST and GOOD LUCK!
Yes I'm in the CAGS program since I already have a master's in nursing. I took pharmacology and pathophysiology this Summer. And class was every Wednesday for both classes. Now I'm in advanced physical assessment and it is every Wednesday in person. Maybe once or twice a semester it's on Zoom but they require us to practice our assessment skills on actor patients and each other since that is how we are graded.
I look forward to next year with clinical placements which for the FNP program would be two eight hour days a week plus a once a month classroom in person meet.
It's totally doable if you work 3 12s in hospital. I work mon- Friday 9-5 and have had to use all my Paid time off hours for school. Good luck
