Did anyone apply for Pace ABSN Spring 2017
Tommy, can you tell us a little about the program. Anything you liked or did not like? Anything we should know about the clinicals and where are they? Really any information you have to share would be greatly appreciated.
INTESNSE and if you are in the one year, it is even MORE INTESNSE. If you are in the one year track, expect to spend AT LEAST 100 hours per week for school work and study. Working during the semester is futile. As for clinical, they spread out in Westchester area and NYC, potential places are Westchester Medical center, Phelps Memorials, Sloan, Northern Westchester Hospital, Burke, VA in Manhatta, Monte (and a few more).
The program is really tough, can't stress that enough, but if you put your effort in, you'll make it through. I wish they could have done this over 15months instead of 12.
Thank you Tommy! It seems as if it varies by person. Are you graduating from the pleasantville campus or NYC campus? Also did you do the 1 or 2 year ASBN? Also, I am curious on your experience there. Thanks for any and every feedback you give :)
I'm graduating from the pleasantville campus this December. I started out as a 1 year at the Pleasantville campus then switch to two years due to family issue. All i can say about the pleasantville is: it is ok, not as I first expected, but it could have been worse. There are helps available whenever you need it, but on some rare occasion, you have to be "firm and consistent" with some instructors and staffs to get the help that you need. Other than that, I have been treated and supported very nicely. and yes, it is varies by person...other students may completely disagree with me.
I actually applied for fall 2016 I had submitted my application and all my materials by the deadline. I did not send everything together and the department happened to misplaced my information in which I had to resend everything. By the time I resubmitted everything they had already reviewed for fall 2016. They apologized and gave me an option between spring 2017 or fall 2017 to have my application reviewed by. I asked to be reviewed for spring 2017. So my application has technically been complete and on file since April this year.when did you submit your application?

I received emails for both interview time and acceptance letter. And usually, interview for the spring starts around mid-september.
