Hey just wanted to start a thread for Pace’s ABSN Fall 2019 cohort.

Congrats again, do you mind sharing your stats?

I graduated undergrad with a low gpa due to personal issues. But after then I retook A&P, micro and chemistry over and got As. I also volunteered a lot in clinics and nursing homes which helped me connect with a lot of nurses for my reformation letters. I really think they looked at the application as I whole not just grades so don’t be discouraged!

I honestlt dont remember GPA but for pre reqs I got:

A & P I A

A& P II B+

Statistics A

Psych A

Micro B+

Chemistry B +

Undergrad GPA was a 3.8

Feel free to message me. I was in your boat at one point and it felt like I would never get in with my low gpa from undergrad but it’s possible you just have to fight for it!

When were your interviews? Mine was 2/11 and I haven’t received an email yet. I wonder how they are sending them out!

Just wait a bit, everyone is getting them one at a time. When first two people got their emails, I thought I was rejected, but got my email 30-ish minutes after others. My interview was on 2/11 also. GOOD LUCK!

I just got accepted!! someone was at the same interview session as me got the acceptance email like 30 mins before me. i really thought i got rejected at that point. Just keep looking they probably just sending them out one by one at a different time.

Not sure if it varies, but at mine they asked you to say something about yourself, and why you would be a good candidate for the program!
