Hey everyone!

I wanted to start a thread for anyone that applied to PACE for the fall 2015 accelerated cohort in NYC. I submitted my application a while ago and have been reading previous threads. Some of the applicants were interviewed and they seemed to received their acceptance/rejection letters quickly.

@chrissychrissy I just got an e-mail inviting me for an interview today, and my application status on the portal still says "in review."

I got an email inviting me for interview yesterday. The interview comes up in a week time. My portal still reads "In Review."

@ Kate415 Congrats! Can you share your experience of the interview, please? What was it like? Am having mine next week.

Thanks! @jagaban .the interview was a group interview mine was 5 people and three interviewers . They asked questions directed at certain people and some we just chimed in. It was pretty relaxed and the faculty was wonderful. Good luck!

Congratulations!! Did your interview also have an essay/math problem portion? Previous threads have mentioned this. If so, how was it?

Congrats to those that interviewed! I was just wondering if they review applications in alphabetical order or not. I was told my application would be reviewed last week and it still hasn't updated on the portal, it just says "complete".

Hi All,

I also had my interview Monday Feb 23rd and less than a week later on Friday was accepted! They notified me through email on both occurrences. I had applied to the 1 year program, however I was accepted for the 2 year program. I did not anticipate doing a 2year program, but I'm not going to turn it down just yet. Does anyone know more information about the 2 year program itself? I can only find information about their course offerings. What is the day to day schedule like? How many days a week? It is fall/spring/summer semester schedule? And any other information would be helpful!

Did you call them? I've heard of this happening before. Don't know if it's their error or due to space in the programs.

When did you submit your application ? I just spoke to them and they said they have not started interviewing. I wonder why they said that.

I feel like I've been told many contradicting stories myself. I know they are very busy so I understand the chaos but I wish I had more of a clue of what exactly is going on with my application. I submitted my application in January. They said they were missing documents although I sent everything. Finally after weeks of calling my application was complete mid Feb. I called again today to see when my application would be reviewed and I was told it could be months but they have started interviewing. I'm lost.
