Hey everyone!
I wanted to start a thread for anyone that applied to PACE for the fall 2015 accelerated cohort in NYC. I submitted my application a while ago and have been reading previous threads. Some of the applicants were interviewed and they seemed to received their acceptance/rejection letters quickly.
good luck to everyone!!
When do you graduate? I just had me interview a week ago but have not gotten an email yet. I am so worried because some students on this thread had some negative feelings towards to one year program....is it really as bad as what students have posted? You are currently in the program...how many people are in your program,,,did many students drop out?
quick question. i am definitely looking into the two year ABSN program for PACE and was wondering if you think its possible to have a part time job while in the program. The only thing that makes me worried about accelerated programs is the emphasis on not working but if i can do an ABSN and work part time it would be much better
@Lilmisskriss1113 Im in the two year program now and i think it could be doable. I dont have a job right now, however I'm going into my second semester and looking for a job because I have a lot of extra time on my hands during the week. There are quite a few people who work part-time. During our 2nd year though it might get a little hectic because we'll have more clinicals. If you go into the 1 year program, I have seen a few people struggle doing both.
Hope this helps!
Hi Kate! I just came across your post and was wondering if you could tell me a type or example of math question they asked you? I never had to take the TEAS test so I have no idea what type of math they would want me to show them. It would be much appreciated because my interview is next week! Thank you!!

Adding, multiplying and dividing either fractions or decimals. And also questions on percents, ratios, and proportions. For the interview it was only a few questions, I think I had more proportion and percent questions. I don't believe I got all of mine correct, yet I'm in the program now. When you get into the program theres a test with this same kind of material you have to take before the program starts. That test you do have to get a 100% on or something close to that (I don't remember exactly), but you'll have a book to study from beforehand.
Good luck at your interview!!

Thanks so much for the info! I was wondering how long your interview process took? The time slots are an hour apart so I thought maybe an hour or so.. I am flying in from a different state and need to book my car back to airport for my flight. Thank you!! : )

When are you graduating from Pace? I also applied to Stony Brook but like you said,,,it is super difficult. Stony Brook told me that they send out decision letter the end of December/early January. NYU would be my first choice but if I don't get accepted, Pace would be my second choice, although I was considering LIU too but I wanted to avoid taking the TEAS exam, that is why I did not apply to Down State. What made you decide to go to Pace? Did you apply to any other schools? During my interview they stated that orientation will be in December and the incoming students get to meet the graduating class, which would be great in order to get certain questions answered.
