Hello everyone, I just had a couple quick questions regarding reciprocity.
I graduated from a BSN program in May 2014, passed my boards and had multiple hospitals interested in hiring me. Unfortunately I had some random health issues arise and I have not been able to pursue a nursing career yet, but I finally feel that I am ready. I understand I am not the hottest prospect these days. That said, I have an employer who I believe is willing to give me an opportunity but they are in New Jersey and my license is in Pennsylvania.
- Has anyone transferred an RN license from PA to NJ, and would you mind pointing me in the right direction on how to go about that? Also, if anyone can share their experience doing this that would be much appreciated.
- How long did the whole process take and what did it cost you?
- Will I need to put down some type of nursing experience to be able to transfer my license to another state?
Hope to hear back soon! Thank you everyone!

If you haven't done so yet, you should visit the NJ BON website. You should find answers to all of your questions there.
Best wishes in your job search.
Hi Chare, do you know if transferring my license would be the "Application by endorsement" application?

Yes it is.
