im thinking just the TCN guide lisa arrends notes and the practice exams..is this enough to pass the EC tests?
Most likely, yes. But be sure to double-check your knowledge against the EC exam content guide just to make sure you're not missing anything! :)
*hugs* Just take it one test at a time! You can do this.

Hi all, after being so excited to begin ec im beginning or should i say trying to study for nc1and feeling overwhelmed...Im on a budget, well i actually can't see myself spending all that $$ for books..im beginning to feel overwhelmed...I can't read chapters after chapters of info...b/c i have learned that if i read "unnecessary" info, not that only a few things are important and other info is not..its just that if i "over" study..my chances of failing is high on an exam...i tend to get anxious before and exam..and i did well on my exams when i was in the nursing program...but i realized that if i read what i "need to know"...then i do well... the ec study guides confuse me...i dont know if anyone else have thought the same...but...i have a co-worker of mine who let me borrow her TCN guide for NC 1 and 1 its ALOT thicker than the EC study guides..lol..and for some reason a bit more in depth and straight to the point...its my first time doing a program online yet i can;t see myself sitting in class for 8 hours under constant stress and the brown nosing of the instructor, and students who compete as if there is only ONE RN position available after graduation..lol...so i opted for this plus i have a family and work..so this route was more convenient...but i desperately need a bit of guidance...im thinking just the TCN guide lisa arrends notes and the practice exams..is this enough to pass the EC tests?...what i have caught myself doing is looking at the EC guides for example in NC 1 guide the lil gray boxes that have the chapters and titles of chapters i go to the TCN guide and read them over...because the way the EC guide breaks it down , i feel as though what im reading is repetitive... and confusing... any advice?...thank u...
