Hi there! Just wanna know if there are others out there like me who's in the same situation now.
I am a Registered Nurse in my country and I have applied to the Queensland Nursing Council for assessment. According to them I'm not eligible for registration but for enrollment with medication endorsement. I have to sit for the CAS Part A (written) exam and then after that (assuming I pass everything) I am to go to Queensland for the 160 hour clinical placement. That's fine by me. But while I respect their decision I am now wondering if I am eligible to apply for Permanent Residency after working as an EEN? I know that I am eligible for a 457 visa once I find an employer. But my husband and I really want to be permanent residents in Australia in the future. So, any thoughts on this? Or has anyone out there been through this same route and are now PRs in Australia? Thanks in advance and God bless!
