Hint: when applying to places further away, a contributing factor to being hired is being able to show up on short notice. If you can't make the actual interview, what happens when there is a shift on the line?
I am sorry, but I do not agree. There is a big difference between getting called in to work at the last minute and being available for an interview! Many hospital systems will interview candidates on the phone or via Skype first, following up later with an in-person interview at an agreed upon time.
Are you already in possession of a Georgia nursing license? Your applications to Georgia healthcare facilities will be taken more seriously if you already have the license issued by the GA Board of Nursing.I am not planning on commuting to Georgia, I am just looking to secure employment there before relocating.

Has anybody here ever interviewed for an lpn job in another state? I'm going to start applying for positions in Georgia. I currently live in Illinois. Do jobs do video conferencing or just phone interviews? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!!
