Our Lady of Lourdes Nursing Program (Camden)

I sent my application into OLOL (Camden) and I was wondering if anyone has attended this program in the past few years? I havent really found anything on the internet about this school and I was wondering if it is a good program or not. I have read that it was good 30 years ago... but how about now? I wanted to start Jan. 2012 but they already picked for that start date so I have my application in for August 2012. As of now that is my 1st choice in schools unless I hear that it's not a great program. I am very nervous about Nursing School to start with so it is important for me to hear about the program.

Hey has anyone heard anything from the new admissions person? I saw the blog ---------------------- had up has been removed, and I tried e-mailing the new person but have had no response so far...

I haven't tried to email, but I think she was taking over this week.. I havent needed to contact anyone though.. Maybe try calling.. They might also have special hours due to the summer.

I haven't had to contact anyone, either. I'm wondering if things stay the way they are, if we need to reapply to be considered, or what??

Hello All! Has anyone received their acceptance letter to OLOL for January 2013? I heard the acceptance letters would be sent out by the end of December 2011 or by the latest, January 2012. Since December 2011 has passed and now entering January 2012, I'm hoping to receive an acceptance letter.

My name is Drew! Congrats on your acceptance to OLOL. I recently applied to OLOL (several months ago) for Spring 2013 class (January???). The cut off date to apply was October 31, 2011.

I understood that the acceptance letters will be mailed out either by the end of December 2011 or by the latest January 2012. Since December has came and went, I'm hoping it comes any day in this month (January). The waiting is the hardest part. I know OLOL is merging with Immaculata University so that may account for the delay.

When you applied to OLOL, how long did you wait before you received your acceptance letter?

Thanks, same here. It's been a long road just getting to this point, now I just have to prepare myself to finally do it. I'm crossing my fingers that seats become available for the fall class and I'll be able to start earlier, but either way, I'm just relieved to have finally been accepted.

Ditto! I just got my letter as well. I still have to take chemistry this semester, but I've gotten either A or B in all the other pre-reqs I needed. I'm terrified!

Same here, I still have to take Chem...I tried taking it over the summer but I found it extremely difficult and ended up dropping it...I'm really nervous about taking it, but I suppose it's a necessary evil lol...The professor I'm taking it with has a lot of positive reviews from other students so I'm just crossing my fingers.
