2013 OU ABSN Applications

I know from reading previous posts there were a few others that were applying to the OU ABSN program. I just turned my application in about two weeks ago. I'm hoping to be accepted to the Duncan program. My husband and I will be moving back to the Lawton area at the end of August. We are currently in Alaska with the military.

I know I have been worried, especially since the website has not updated the site with the most recent student stats. I would like to know what the last batch of grades looked like compared to mine. Nothing I can do now but wait. Maybe we could all keep each other sane here =)

I talked to an Admissions Rep today. She said the committee meet and made decisions and the list is now in the dean's office. Said they are hoping to have letters mailed before Thanksgiving. I believe we are all hoping for this waiting game to be over. Good luck to everyone.

Was this admissions rep at Tulsa? And by thanksgiving?? Oh dear...they just keep pushing it back!!

The number I called was the admission rep for undergrad programs, which was a 405 number at the College of Nursing in OKC, but I think she was referring to all decisions for the ABSN programs. Thanksgiving is next week, so this week I am just going to forget about it and stop being anxious about watching the mailbox. At this point its not even whether I got in or not, I just want to know so I can make arrangements for the Spring, whether I will be in an ABSN program or doing something compeletly different, liking running away to New Zealand...or just staying in Oklahoma.

Looks like today is the day for the Duncan Applicants!!!

I GOT IN!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited! I'm not really sure what to do other than jump around and scream!!!!!!
