2013 OU ABSN Applications

I know from reading previous posts there were a few others that were applying to the OU ABSN program. I just turned my application in about two weeks ago. I'm hoping to be accepted to the Duncan program. My husband and I will be moving back to the Lawton area at the end of August. We are currently in Alaska with the military.

I know I have been worried, especially since the website has not updated the site with the most recent student stats. I would like to know what the last batch of grades looked like compared to mine. Nothing I can do now but wait. Maybe we could all keep each other sane here =)

Congrats!!! I'm so glad you made it in! It will be nice to "know" at least a few people!

Can't wait to find out when orientation is so we can get started!!!

Thanks. Yes, it was in regards to the Duncan campus. I checked the website out and it looks like orientation for Duncan is set for Dec. 12. I feel like I have a million things to do between now and then.

Hello, I just got an email from someone from the Tulsa campus and she said she does not know when the acceptance letters for Tulsa will go out, but she assumes it will be AFTER Thanksgiving :(

Boomer- under the current students tab it's under orientation then you select the campus. I think we start on January 15th

Holy cow...they just keep pushing it further back!!

One of my main concerns with this is that we are about to run into the deadlines for other schools admissions process soon. I don't want to have to think about applying somewhere else, but if I do, I want to have the time to get that done.

Yes, this is a major bummer for everyone! I've already been accepted to TCC's RN program for Spring 2013, which I already went through orientation for. I obviously want to go to OU considering I already have a bachelor's and want a BSN rather than just the RN so this is really starting to upset me.

The initial email I sent back in mid-October got a response that the letter would definitely be out by Nov 15.

I emailed someone at OU Tulsa today and she said she was sorry for the delay.. she said they are still waiting on the dean to approve the committee's decisions... she said it could be today or after thanksgiving when they mail them, but she said she would get them out as soon as they came to her. She also told me I could keep checking in with her.. so I will keep you updated on the info I get.

I emailed an advisor at the Tulsa Campus today and she said that we won't be getting letters until after November 30th. So it looks like December before we know anything.
