Otterbein CRNA application for 2020

Hello, did anyone apply for crna school at otterbein this year to start in 2020? Have you heard anything about interviews? Also, for the current students of the program, how was the interview process and what did you use to study for it?

Hey, I received an interview invitation on Friday. Wondering about the interview as well, not sure if I need to purchase the textbooks listed in the prep guide. Have you heard anything?

Hi Merryle,

I got an email for interview on Friday as well. I haven't heard anything else. I was also wondering about those books. I had just planned to review ccrn material. I may buy the nurse anesthesia book. It just seems so overwhelming. How about you how are you preparing for the interview

Can I ask you both of how many years of experience in what types of critical care settings? Also, GPA and any certifications other than what is required?

7 years of nursing, 2 of those years in cvicu level 1 trauma center. 3.5 total GPA, acls, bls, pals, ccrn

Hi did you guys submitted the application early? Because I haven't heard anything from otterbein yet, I submitted around mid of August. I do know that otterbein will send an email regardless of rejection or acception. I guess no rejection email means good, hopefully they are still in their reviewing process.

I submitted my application early. I sent Kelly an email a few days ago and then a woman named Tina emailed me to let me know I'm on a wait list to interview.

Wait list?? Does that mean they will contact you for an interview only If they think they will need to interview more people? If not, there won't be an interview? Am I interpreting it right?

They told me I'm 5th on the wait list, so I won't get to interview unless 5 people decline the offer to interview.
