  1. For the people that got in, did you have your TN license already? I got an email from [MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME] that it was now an admission requirement and the deadline to have it is Feb 1st.
  2. Thanks for your encouragement. Luckily I will be going for a master's program, which is 27 months. Graduation is in December 2022.
  3. Thank you for this post. I am due to start crna school in August, I have 3 children and I just found out that I am pregnant. Luckily I have a very supportive family. I will be living away from family while in school, but my sister plans to come join me when the baby is born. I have been thinking of how possible it will be but your post reassured me. Thank you once again.
  4. Sorry about your situation. I suggest contacting schools, some will accept people dismissed from another school. If you don't mind me asking, which school were you attending?
  5. They sent a letter in the mail.
  6. I think Murray state university in Kentucky is like that too.
  7. Concentrate on your specialty. Know all the major medications you give and their mechanism of action, know the devices you use and how they work. Also, anything you put on your resume is fair game, so be prepared to talk about the skills you wrote on your resume. Also, be prepared to talk about your shadow experience. Know the difference between crna and mda, some schools ask this.
  8. I found out today that I got in, but I also got in at st. Elizabeth in Youngstown. Now I don't know which one to choose.
  9. I accepted an offer for crna school with st. Elizabeth health center school of anesthesia, today I got a letter showing that I have been offered a spot at Allegheny school of anesthesia as well. The two programs are very similar. I will have to move about the same distance for both. I am not sure which one to choose. Are there any graduates of these two program here? Please, what do you think? Thank you for your replies.
  10. Congrats! Make sure to research how this school interviews so you will be prepared.
  11. You have put in a lot of work to show your motivation. I think you should have multiple people look at your resume and personal statement, apply to multiple schools. Some schools are harder to get into. I also applied to Cincinnati, NKU, and Otterbein without success. Luckily, I was able to apply to two schools towards the end of last year. I got into one and am waiting to hear from the other one. Also try University of Akron, Lourdes university, union university, Oakland and beaumont in addition to reapplying to the schools you applied to last year. Don't give up, keep applying until you get in. Good luck.
  12. Hello, can any former or current student get of St. Elizabeth crna school in Youngstown tell me more about the program. Do you like it or not? There isn't much online about the program. Thanks.
  13. Hi LucidDreaming, Thanks for the response. I hope my interview goes well.
  14. They called me to schedule for interview. I was told that they will interview till March.
  15. Clevelandicu, did you hear from Allegheny yet?
