OTC Perineal Analgesic

Hi everyone,

Can anyone recommend some OTC products for adults that are good for reducing perineal / rectal discomfort and irritated skin d/t stomach virus, diarhhea?

Really have no idea on what types of products are out there for this sort of thing. If you have suggestions please let me know.

There are tons of stuff out there. Tucks, preparation H, anusol cream to name a few (I guess you can see I've been looking at this section at the drug store...) Some of these protect and others shrink the swollen skin. Desitin like products are also an option or even A&D

The active ingredient in many of these products is witch hazel. It can much less expensive bought in a bottle and applied with washcloths or even cotton balls.
