OSU OKC Spring 2014

I wanted to start this thread for all of the OSU OKC Spring 2014 applicants. I turned in my application yesterday and I can not wait for letters to go out! I am new to allnurses (but not to OSU OKC) and was hoping to share some of my excitement and anticipation with some other OSU OKC Spring 2014 hopefuls!

Yeah! I had physiology with ------ this summer. I am also an aunt and actually watching her right now! She is 2 months and I am crazy in love with her! Hey, has anyone received an e-mail from ********** addressed to nursing students for spring enrollment? I received one but idk if it's just an e-mail for pre nursing and nursing students.

I received the email today about spring enrollment. I don't remember receiving the email in past semesters not sure if it went out to all applicants or not. I was thinking of calling and asking tomorrow.

I also got the e-mail, but I'm guessing that it doesn't "hint" at our acceptance. Did you OSU-OKC students get the other e-mail that said there's a new nursing advisor? Has anyone heard anything about that? Where did the last one go?

Yes, I received both e-mails. I have never received an e-mail from the nursing advisor before this semester as well. Please tell me what you hear when you call! I was going to call but since you were, I didn't want to bother them. I figure they might be getting a few calls lol.

I called. Every applicant received the email. You can't enroll until after you receive your letter though. Letters should go out end of October- first 2 weeks of November.

I do hope we all get in! I can't remember the last time I was this nervous. My O-key email account is all messed up. I did not get an email so I'm even more nervous. I know they have everything b/c Kathleen at OSU emailed me my points.

I don't think you should have anything to be nervous about with 103 points. Im right there with ya, I have 105 points. Be ready to get your CPR if you don't have it already. You are going to need TB tests, blood titers, another background check plus all of the supplies and books. They are wearing orange scrubs this semester and I have heard they are even particular about your shoes. Be ready to shell out some cash because all of that will add up quickly. :)

My CPR expired last year :confused:. I read in the handbook that it was orange tops and black bottoms. Mostley white or mostly black shoes. I have been looking online to find the best deals on those items. Trying to get myself prepaired for being super broke. Nordstrom Rack has good deals on sneakers.

I glanced over that too. It is longggg. I work at integris and they keep up my vacs and everything so I hope the college will accept my records from employee health. That will save me some $$. Time is dragging by I can't believe its only the 16th of October! I am ready for letters to go out already!

I got my acceptance letter!!! Yay!!!! So excited. Point cut off was 87 this semester. :woot:
