OSU OKC Spring 2014

I wanted to start this thread for all of the OSU OKC Spring 2014 applicants. I turned in my application yesterday and I can not wait for letters to go out! I am new to allnurses (but not to OSU OKC) and was hoping to share some of my excitement and anticipation with some other OSU OKC Spring 2014 hopefuls!

Hey! I turned in my OSU OKC application on the 24th and my UCO application on the 13th. If you don't mind me asking, what did you make on the TEAS V test?

I made a 90.7. Surprisingly I did worst on ELA. Spelling and punctuation were my downfalls. How did you do? If you have your choice would you choose OSU or UCO? :)

Dang girl that's a great score! I could have done better. I made a 76 but I have a good GPA. I would rather go to UCO because I could get my bachelors in about the same time I could get my associates at OSU OKC.

Thanks! Well I hope you get into your first choice but if not maybe OSU will work after all. I plan to transfer to OU after to get my BSN and possibly even my masters. How many preference points did you end up having for OSU?

Well after adding them up myself I think I have 89 points. I didn't take any of my sciences at osu so I don't get those points. Btw 89 is a good guestimation. What did you get? Probably over 100 because of your amazing teas score.

The cut off at OSU was 83 points last semester and pretty close to that the two before that. I think you have a pretty good chance of getting in. :)

Thank you! I'm so excited! I find out about UCO sometime during fall break and we find out about OSU OKC mid to late October. If I don't get into UCO I'm going to be excited to meet you!

Absolutely! I have my fingers crossed! I will definitely be posting on here as soon as I get the news good or bad. :)

I'll post about UCO and OSU OKC when I find out as well. I would be greatfull to go to either one.

Hey guys! I turned in my application last week with 98 points.

That's awesome! I ended up with 105 PTs so hopefully we will all be in! I feel pretty confident but you never know. I know the highest it's been in the past few years was 90 PTs. How did you do on the TEAS V? I'm curious to see how changing to that test will effect the number of points you need to get in. Do you go to OSU OKC currently?

I got a 90.7 on the TEAS also! And yes, I'm currently at OSU-OKC. I'm taking micro and physio this semester so I didn't get points for those classes. A friend of mine talked to the secretary in the nursing office today and she said so far about 100 applications have been turned in.
