OSU-OKC Fall 20

I was just wondering if anyone was applying for Osu Okc nursing program for the fall of this year. I know its a lot of stuff going on right now with Covid-19 and schools closing and wondering if that's going to affect nursing programs going forward.

They are not accepting the HESI :( if it wasn’t taken in April we can’t submit it. So what we have is what we have.

Also if you already applied to Osu Okc through admissions you will not need to re apply. Just have to re apply to the nursing program.

I also feel like they are going to have a TON of applicants this semester. With the extension and the exemption of the HESI ???

Oh WOW!! I guess I should just apply and see how it goes then. I’m scared now LOL. Thanks for the information.

So if you took it already you cant submit that score?! I'm confused

I believe you can submit old scores but if you have never completed the HESI (like me) then you just have to apply without those points. I believe that's what agall10 is trying to say?

OK thats good then because I dont think it would be worth me even applying if I couldnt add the HESI points on to it.

Yes you can submit old scores as long as it was taken before April. And apply anyway. You never know. I applied with low points but it’s worth a try.

Have you guys asked how many applicants they are accepting this semester?

So you already turn in your app? Was it hard to do? How do you do it? And I havnt talked to anyone I need to try and talk to someone Monday

I printed the app off online and filled it out then scanned it in and sent it to the email they posted on the website. I added my transcript just in case. They have an email set up for them to receive the apps. The lady said to send it as an attachment.

I’m terrified applying with the points that I have ? I’m so sad I didn’t get the chance to take the exam I should have scheduled it for February but I wanted all the study time I could get. I will no longer procrastinate again in my life LOL

I will be applying with 81 points without the HESI exam. I was planning on taking it in May but it looks like they won't be offering it anymore. Am I understanding that right? So If you have already taken it you can use the points but if you haven't taken it then you apply without the points? That sounds like it would make it very difficult for those of us who haven't taken it to get in without the extra points from the HESI.

I was thinking the same thing. I wish they would waive it for everyone or no one at all.
