U.S.A. Oklahoma

I was just wondering if anyone was applying for Osu Okc nursing program for the fall of this year. I know its a lot of stuff going on right now with Covid-19 and schools closing and wondering if that's going to affect nursing programs going forward.

McGraw-Hill 3 HESI A2 practice test book, Elsevier HESI Admission Assesment exam review and I'm just going online and looking up free HESI practice tests and there are lots of those online and even on quizlet you can find stuff. And yea I'm going to get my BSN but after maybe I work for a couple of years and do RN-BSN online

Hello! I'm applying for fall, too. I highly recommend the HESI Admission Assessment Exam Review book by Elsevier. It was a great study guide and provides practice tests so you can see where you are and focus your studying. Good luck on the HESI. I took it right before the Coronavirus shut everything down. This is definitely a strange time!

I took it at a testing center that facilitated/proctored multiple different tests. There were about seven other people there, but they could have been taking other exams. I used Quizlet and other practice tests to study, but the Elsevier was by far the best I found and I felt well prepared. The test was several hours long and I finished within one minute of running out of time. Study and you'll do great.

Thank you so much. I spoke with one of the advisors and she told me that the subjects we would be tested on would be Chemistry, math, and reading comprehension. That’s the book I’m using to study so I’m glad that you found it helpful!

I had a test scheduled for March 25th as well :( I called and was told they will have my date rescheduled for May. I wonder if the extension of the deadline will increase the number of applicants. How many points is everyone applying with?

This will be my second time applying ???? I wonder if this pandemic will open more spots into these nursing programs across Oklahoma.

I don't know how many points I have in total until I take my HESI test. Hopefully all of this won't make it harder to have nursing school as far as clinicals

Hey yall, I just randomly checked OSU-OKC's website and they have decided to waive the HESI test for the Fall 2020 admission applicants!

I'm wondering how should we calculate the points now though...

Yea thats going to be very interesting to see how that works out

I was told the ones that applied with the HESI will still get their points. I was also told we can still test and get our points or apply with older scores. Or we can apply without the HESI we just won’t get the points. So guys take the HESI! Or submit with an older score. These points are still crucial!

All of this may change? I’ve been calling and asking. I’ll update if I know more or if any of this changes.

So my thing is if they waive the HESI how are people still able to take it then? And if you have already paid for it and haven't tested when are they going to let you do that? If not when can you get a refund for it? Then we have people that have points from the test and people that don't have points how are they going choose a cut off if its like that?
