OSU-OKC FALL 2019

Howdy, was reading some older threads on the osu-okc application process and figured why not start one for fall 2019.

How many points did you apply with? I applied with 88 points hope it is enough this time around. The waiting game is brutal at best. I hope with the school closings recently it doesn’t push the notification letters back to much.

Does anyone know where I can find more information on days and times of class? I know thy clinicals will be different, I was just wanting to know about lecture day and lab day so I can let my job know as soon as possible.

Yeah. I went to try to look at the days but it didn’t say. Idk if I was looking in the right place though.

You guys will have class on Mondays and Thursdays from 8-10:20 am. As for clinical/skills lab days, you will have that on either Tuesday or Wednesday. During orientation, you will fill out a clinical preference form stating if you prefer Tuesdays or Wednesdays. They do their best to get you assigned to the day that you chose, but it doesn't always happen. You can do day or night clinical as well. But skills labs always take place during the day.

On clinicals do you get the choice between day or night?

when you fill out your preference form, you put whether you want days or nights and tuesdays or wednesdays

Look under student then registration then detail schedule. It has the days. Mine says lecture is Monday and Thursday and Tuesday or Wednesday for clinical. Now once we go to orientation they may have everything laid out for our schedules they want us in. But as far as the student detail schedule it will give you days

Does anyone know if older editions of certain books will work? Has anyone asked about this? I have the 8th edition of Fundamentals.

That’s fine! The page numbers may be different in the older edition, so just make sure you’re reading the right stuff
