OSU-OKC Fall 2016

I applied to OSU-OKC's nursing program today and I would like to talk to others who are going to or have applied for Fall 2016. From what I have researched so far it seems like waiting for the acceptance letters take a while. Does anyone know how long it usually takes to receive the letter or about how many points are usually the cut-offs? What were point cut-offs for Spring 2016? Anyway, would love to chit chat with you guys on here until letters are in (:

Yeah, I was aware of the same. ***** is so helpful, you just need to send her an email and she'll help qualm any of your fears. She's working with my right now to reprieve my 2011 semester to get me that extra 10 points.

That's awesome.! I didn't get to meet her! I only talked with the regular admissions and they sent my application and stuff over to her. I did send her an email asking if she received everything and she said yeah. So the wait begins... My problem is I'm OCD about it too... Worried I didn't fill something out the right way or if something might actually be missing even though I checked through all of it almost 100 times....

Great news! I got my semester reprieved so I have 87 points now! She emailed them and also said that I have a very good chance of getting in. It's such a relief to have that burden lifted off my shoulders. Now, we wait. :)

Did anyone apply to any other schools? I applied to uco but don't have high hopes for that one and I applied to occc as well. Osu-okc had the latest deadline and this wait is horrible!

I'm with you. I don't really think about it until right before bed, then it ends up keeping me up. 7 more weeks of this stuff? >_

Hi everyone! Just wanted to follow this thread. :) my husband applied for fall 2016, but he literally met the minimum requirements to get in, so we aren't getting our hopes up. He just decided on nursing last semester, so he's still finishing his sciences. His plan was to apply for next spring, but the nursing advisor encouraged him to go ahead and apply since he met the minimum requirements, so we thought, why not? After this semester, his points will be in the 90's, so hopefully he'll for sure get in next spring. :) Anyway, good luck to all of you! I graduated from the program in spring of 2011 and I think it made me a very well prepared nurse! Can't wait till you all hear something!

66 was the point cut off last time, so he might be able to get in!! Best of luck to him! :) Hopefully we'll all get in. I'm so nervous, it's terrible. lol

Talked to the nursing advisor today and she said it's possible letters may be sent out next week.!!
