OSU-OKC Fall 2016

I applied to OSU-OKC's nursing program today and I would like to talk to others who are going to or have applied for Fall 2016. From what I have researched so far it seems like waiting for the acceptance letters take a while. Does anyone know how long it usually takes to receive the letter or about how many points are usually the cut-offs? What were point cut-offs for Spring 2016? Anyway, would love to chit chat with you guys on here until letters are in (:

Ok. Have you done your cpr? I'm scheduled for the class next Saturday at osu Okc. I was told that as long as it's complete by the time orientation comes around I'm good. Also, I was going to do my clinical hub tonight when I get off. Other than that is there anything else you can think of that I'm missing. Titers done and submitted

I did my cpr back in April at Moore Norman Tech Center. I still need to do my clinical hub, but that should be easy. Have you submitted for your other background check and done your drug screen?

I did the osbi back in April. I did the clinical hub last night it was 43$. Gaytra told me the drug screen would be administered at orientation and that we need to bring 30$ Cash for it. I am going up there this morning to get clarification on all of this. I've emailed no response.

I thought the clinical hub was only $20?Sheesh! I already did my drug screen. The packet had a place listed to go take it at. Please let me know what you find out!

Ok, so I'm at Crg labs to take my drug test its 30$. We are supposed to self enroll into foundations and pharmacology (I've done that). Clinicals will be after we pass some lab class. And we choose out of tues or Wednesday. She said they will go over that at orientation. Lecture is Monday and Thursday.

Sorry for being late on the ball to find this thread but I am looking at OSU-OKC's nursing program. I am looking to apply to the Spring 2018 semester. Right now, I am worried about my admission points that I will have after completed my pre-reqs. If I'm adding things up right, I will only have a score in the high 60's. My GPA is a 3.0 due to a bad semester I had. Did you guys take classes required for the degree for extra admission points? I'm also coming from a community college in Kansas so I will not qualify for points for classes completed at OSU-OKC. Any guidance helps! OSU-OKC is definitely my first choice but I think I will be applying to OCCC at this point too..

I am starting the program this spring @ Jordanbreon, I was hoping you could clarify something for me. Did you have a drug test at orientation or was it done before enrollment only? I am just trying to get everything taken care of!! :)

Hello, my name is Lucy and I just got accepted into the Osu 2017 nursing program. I figured since you guys are in the program already then you have gone through the enrolling and stuff. Where is the best place to buy the books? At the bookstore as a package or somewhere else online. also do we really need the apple iPad or can one have any brand of iPad for the clinical's. Please advice; I know its a long shot but am hoping someone will respond. Thanks

Hey ReeReewill, how are you? I hope your doing okay. I just read this thread and I wanted to say thanks for the wise words. I got accepted to the 2017 spring nursing program. I was wondering if you know anyone who just graduated this semester from Osu and they are selling their books or if you still have yours and are selling them. Thanks
