I applied to OSU-OKC's nursing program today and I would like to talk to others who are going to or have applied for Fall 2016. From what I have researched so far it seems like waiting for the acceptance letters take a while. Does anyone know how long it usually takes to receive the letter or about how many points are usually the cut-offs? What were point cut-offs for Spring 2016? Anyway, would love to chit chat with you guys on here until letters are in (:
Hey y'all hope all is well, word to the wise... If you've started getting things together for enrollment do not use St Anthonys for Ab titer testing they are horrible! Slow delays with getting results and bad customer service. I am told quickmed is better, quicker, and cheaper! Just FYI good luck y'all :-)
Hello new nursing class! I just graduated from the program!!! I just saw this thread and was reading through it and felt nostalgic about when I first got my acceptance letter and was getting ready to start the program! I just wanted to say that this program is frustrating and unorganized and will work your last nerve at times. But, stick with it and don't give up. You will want to give up several times throughout your journey. You will fail an exam and feel like it is the complete end of the world. Passing is 77% (76.5) so yes...anything below that is failing and I don't know anyone who made it through the program without failing an exam. But, we made it and it is so worth it in the end. There will be a lot of sleepless nights, a lot of study sessions, a lot of fast food, and most likely a lot of tears...but you can do it!!! Just hang in there!!! I hope I haven't scared you, but I want to be honest about what to expect. If you want to ask me any questions, I'm happy to share. I'm about to start my residency at Alliance Midwest (MWC Regional) in the ICU/CCU, so I will try and answer when I can! Good luck to you all and CONGRATS!!!!!
Btw...the program will enroll you automatically each semester into your required nursing classes. If you have any other classes you have to take (which I wish you well in that endeavor, nursing school will soak up most of your free time) you have to do that yourself!

Oh okay. Just wandering about that.
