OSU-OKC Fall 2016

I applied to OSU-OKC's nursing program today and I would like to talk to others who are going to or have applied for Fall 2016. From what I have researched so far it seems like waiting for the acceptance letters take a while. Does anyone know how long it usually takes to receive the letter or about how many points are usually the cut-offs? What were point cut-offs for Spring 2016? Anyway, would love to chit chat with you guys on here until letters are in (:

I guess not as many people get on here as I thought lol. I'm so anxious to find out if I get accepted or not and to talk to somebody who is feeling the same as me.

I'm really scared because my point total is on the lower end of things.. I messed up my GPA really bad my first semester in college so I'm getting literally no points. But I got Cs and above on all required coursework so I'm still allowed to apply. I made an 84 on my TEASV so my point total is 77 assuming I don't have any point for my GPA..

Yikes.! Are you using your "retention GPA" !? 6-8 weeks is such a long time... It's only been 1 single day.

Yeah, I am using my retention GPA. I completely failed a course my first semester and I haven't been able to retake it. It's not available at OSUOKC, so that makes it hard. It's killing my GPA.

I talked to an advisor the cut off last semester was 66 points.

Wow.! Hopefully it's not too high for next semester. I believe I have 96 points. I'm nervous.!! You did really good on your TEAS test.!! I made a 78.

I'd have more points if I didn't mess up my first semester. 96 points is a shoo-in. You have nothing to worry about. I'm the one that is has to sweat it! The cut off has never been that high to my knowledge. Typically in the 80s. It's just a waiting game for you!

I guess I am just freaking out a little too much. Before I took my TEAS I swore I wouldn't worry if I made at least a 74... But ever since I turned in my application I've been worried.

You have nothing to worry about! You'll be in the nursing program this fall. Hopefully I'll be able to join you! Let me know when you make it in! :)

I applied for the fall 2016 semester too. I believe I have 91 points but I'm also nervous about my application being incomplete or incorrect. I'm just too OCD. I didn't actually talk with the nursing advisor because she wasn't there that day but another advisor whose been there for 10 years said that if you're in the high 80's and up your odds are very good. But she didn't say what the cut off was.
