OSU Grad Entry 2021

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Good Afternoon Everyone!

I am apply in August 2020 for Summer 2021! I am so very excited about this opportunity, as it will allow me to become a CNM in 3-4 years rather than 10-12 (ish) years (getting an ASN, 1-2 years to get into L&D as a nurse, 1-2 years of L&D experience/get BSN, and finally MSN program). I have huge dreams, but it all starts here. I am super nervous about admissions because I didn't do too amazing during my undergrad (I was young and just doing it to have a degree) and graduated with a 2.8. I did do pretty well with my graduate degree (3.8), so i am hoping that will help. I called and he said that not having a 3.0 in undergrad won't disqualify me. I have also gotten A's in each of the pre-reqs that I have taken so far (though I am taking pharm this semester).

I look forward to hearing feedback and also connect with other students who are applying this year as well.

Hey Guys

What are the chances of transferring or adding a specialization while in the program? I am thinking to apply for they reopened the applications and I finished my last prerequisite in the fall. However the only options are CNL and NNP and I was really hoping to do WHNP. What is the likely hood of starting NNP and then petitioning to join the WHNP speciality? Or is it better to go the CLN route and then do the post masters WHNP? Any info is greatly appreciated.

Hey!  I just found this thread. I was accepted to the 2021 cohort for NNP. Quite excited to see I'm not the only one. LOL

@rula look up Forever Buckeye.  If you graduated from an Ohio high school, you should be able to get in state tuition as soon as you move back to Ohio.
