OSU grad entry 2019

Hi! Is anyone else planning to apply to Ohio State's grad entry program, 2019 start date? I am checking every day, waiting for the application to be open! I am studying for the GRE (taking it 7/28) and trying to find someone to shadow. I'll be applying to the CNM track.

@NP_hopeful19 when did you find that out? I was told at an information session that decisions would be released sometime December?

I'm pretty sure it was said at the online overview session that I did, and they said it again on the Informational session they posted on Facebook. They didn't really say the reason, just that the timeline was different this year and they expected decisions to released in Feb, but were waiting to get the official date.

It was almost a year ago so that makes sense that it has changed! I attended the open house recently but they didn't mention anything about the date. Wow, that will be a long wait!

I know, it feels like such a long time to wait! I'm hoping but not expecting that maybe it'll end up being a little sooner than that. Not sure if the new pre-requisite policy could have lessened the number of applications for this year.

Also, random question - did you guys get any kind of confirmation email once all your application materials were processed or was the only update everything turning to "complete" on the portal?

No confirmation email. All I got was complete on everything on the portal

Hey guys! I applied for the NNP program grad entry. I found a thread on here posted in 2017 that had people applying for fall of 2018 and they all got their decision emails around the 20th of December! So fingers crossed that it'll be about the same timeline for us!! Good luck to everyone :) are there any other NNP applicants out there?

I applied for the NNP track! I went to an info session in the spring and they said decisions should be out by the new year!

@Mbsp when did you attend that info session? I rewatched the Facebook video that was posted recently and it said February

Same, I was hoping maybe I just remembered incorrectly lol. We should be receiving emails soon with an exact date though!

@Mbsp That's exciting!! So did you find out any stats about the NNP program at that info session? Like how many people they accept per year? I couldn't find anything online about it so I was just wondering if they had a acceptance cap

I feel like they are maybe saying different things to people because I attended the session in April talking about this cycle and that's what I was told by one of the advisors. My friend is in the 2018 group and she told me she found out around December 15th. It probably just varies honestly.
