Hello all! I hope to start this thread as the official Q&A for the applicants of the Ohio State Graduate Entry Masters of Nursing/Nurse Practitioner Program Summer 2018 enrollment! I am in the works of applying, getting my last letter of rec together and studying for the GRE. I'm so excited!! How about you??

I remember a lady got admitted to the pediatric cohort with only like a 3.1 and hadn't been in school for 20 years! no academic references just references from past managers and she got in because her personal statement really showed she was passionate about pediatrics!

Hey everyone,

I thought I'd post on the thread. I applied for the PMHNP specialty. I currently have a Master in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have a LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor). Good Luck to everyone that applied....let the stress begin!

Wow...I had no idea more people actually started replying!! Thanks guys! Yes-my last letter made it in and the app is submitted. From previous threads, It seems like we'll get an invitation to interview on or shortly after November 1st! 2 more weeks folks!

Wow, didn't know that's how the interviews worked! Not sure from where or from who i heard this from, but I "heard" that those who were invited to interview were likely to get in. I've only read of a few people interview and not get accepted...only because they applied to comepetative specialties. I know that women's health and psych are the least competitive !

Yes, I applied to Case Western and got accepted just yesterday! I was going to apply to cinci as well but they got rid of their NP program last minute

Hello! I just got sent my link to interview for the Pediatric NP specialty! Just wondering if anyone else has gotten sent interviews yet or have done theirs already? If so, what were the questions like? I am very excited but also super nervous!
