  1. Has anyone applied to this years cohort? January 2020 start date I applied and not sure if I'll get in. I know the normal 13 month program accepts 20-30 people into their waitlist but this one is 18 months and the same price so I'm thinking it will be more competitive? Thoughts? Anyone have any info on this program?
  2. I also got rejected today. I applied to the psychiatric cohort. Good luck to the rest of you
  3. Hey accepted applicants!! How's the program going so far??
  4. I remember a lady got admitted to the pediatric cohort with only like a 3.1 and hadn't been in school for 20 years! no academic references just references from past managers and she got in because her personal statement really showed she was passionate about pediatrics!
  5. Josh that's good to know! I thought only a select few get interviewed! I have applied to the Psych NP program! Hoping and praying to get in
  6. Me too. I am applying this month once i finish my anatomy final! Which cohort are you applying to? I am doing psych
  7. Has anyone here taken pharmacology before they took anatomy and physiology?
  8. Ah! I understand now. Has anyone here been accepted to the Psych program? Any advice when applying to their program?? I know a member of this thread posted that she got rejected but she had a 3.9 gpa and 4.0 pre req. The only problem with hers was the statement of purpose.
  9. But I thought OSU grad school tuition was all the same 8+ hours per semester?
  10. How much of the tuition does OSU pay for its employees? When I looked over their employee benefits packet it said up to 36k a year but maybe I was reading that wrong.
  11. Wow guys I really appreciate how honest and open everyone has been. Does anyone here plan on working while in the program? If so, how many hours a week? I know a single mom in the program who is working fulltime, and I know another girl who isn't a mom but is working 30 hours a week. and how about financial aid. Are the majority of you going to fund your education through loans or what are some ideas for funding?
  12. Thank you Kat! I wasn't able to respond because I am new and they wouldn't let me but I will definitely reach out to those contacts for shadowing ! Thanks so much
  13. Thanks for the answers guys!! @katosu Where were you able to shadow? I tried getting shadowing experience but I didn't get any answers.
  14. Can I know everyone's stats that got accepted? Also what did you guys say in your purpose statements? I am trying to get a feel for what they are looking for. I am applying next year. Any help would be SO GREATLY APPRECIATED!! :) :) :) Congrats to everyone that got in!!! And for everyone who did not-- try again next year!
  15. Did you get accepted to the program?
