OSU Grad Entry 2018

Hello all! I hope to start this thread as the official Q&A for the applicants of the Ohio State Graduate Entry Masters of Nursing/Nurse Practitioner Program Summer 2018 enrollment! I am in the works of applying, getting my last letter of rec together and studying for the GRE. I'm so excited!! How about you??

Hi - is this for OSU? Did everyone on this thread get an interview? The email says "This does not mean acceptance, but it indicates that your application is competitive." Just curious! Thanks.

yes, for Ohio State. I haven't heard of anyone not getting an interview.. everyone that I spoke with has received an interview.

I interviewed for the Psych specialty as well!

I am SO nervous and i just keep thinking "how can they accept me after that awful interview"! Hahah, but I don't understand how they interview every single person because based on the interview I don't think they can accept or reject you based on it lol

Anyone know when we can expect to hear back by? I have heard back from most other programs so I am in the process of visiting those campuses and finalizing my decision. But most schools I applied to are private, and OSU is the one public school that literally has 1/2 the price of tuition and is still ranked highly so I definitely still want to consider it, but time is of the essence!!! :(

The cohort last year found out around December 20th. We had our interviews a week earlier than them this year so I would say we might possibly know a week earlier. So, sometime between December 12th-20th is my personal guess!

I've been thinking the same thing! I haven't been on here to avoid thinking about it, but now that it's getting closer to mid-Dec I'm getting more and more nervous! 😖 good luck to everyone!:)
