Just pay close attention to your body mechanics when transferring patients. Pay close attention to the patients body alignment and how staff help patients move following surgery. Do not move your ortho patients without someone experienced with you to prevent possible injury to the patient or yourself.

Ditto above post. Postop pain is a big issue also in orthopaedics. Good luck to you.
