Hi you guys,
I am thinking of doing the lpn program here at Orlando tech and just wanted to know if anyone had any experience with this program or knows anything about it ( good or bad). Please help out if you can.
Thanks!

Thanks, I didn't know if I was being overly anxious or not. I called last week and I called today. Last week she said she was mailing them off that same week. So I was thinking if that was the case I should have received it by now. Then I called today and she said I should be getting it soon. Do you remember who you spoke with?

No, I don't remember the name.
Thanks, I feel better. I guess I'll keep waiting. Are you excited to start the program?
Yes, I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I want to know everything about the program.
Hi GigiNorma,
Did you hear anything about the part-time program at Orlando tech?
No, I don't know anything about the part time program. I know that exists, and the orientation is on December 18, but nothing else. I would like to know how hard is the part time program compared to the full time program.
Ok ok, the reason I asked was because when I called to ask about the part-time program they said they might cancel the evening program because of the budget. When I called today they said they were still going to have it. So just wondering if you had heard anything also. It's just right around the corner. It feels like it will never come. (LOL)
Wow! I'm surprised. I haven't heard anything about it. Perhaps that's why the orientation wasn't in November.
Yeah, I think that's why also. I just happen to call to ask a question and they told me they were postponing the evening program to August. I also was wondering why it was taking so long for the orientation date. I think they are going to pull a teacher from the full-time classes to the part-time program so they can still have it.
Thank goodness, I feel as if I waited so long for this, for them to actually cancel the the evening program until August. If that was the case I would have probally started pre-reqs for the RN program. But thankfully they are still starting the program. They said this is the first time something like this has ever happened.
