Thanks for the insight, and I love your username! Too funny! :yeah:

I think this is the first time I ever wanted a holiday weekend to end before it did. I'm now officially registered for my classes, and now I'm wondering: is it January yet? :D

I've also heard that the sisters teach the same things the same way, and of course I'm interested! I also just realised that there's only one theory/110 and 112 lecture for Westerners, so we'll all have that together, at least.

That's a huge difference! I live in Taylor, so I'm kind of right in the middle (17 miles to NW, 13 to Western), but I just like the Western campus so much more. Of course, we'll still have to journey out to NW to visit the lab there, but oh well.

LOL! I know what you mean! I'm ready to get started.

I haven't had a chance to drop my registration off -- hopefully I can tomorrow. I don't want to lose it! You'd think I lived further away then practically right across the street, but I've been so busy.

Did you get your books yet? Someone said the vouchers go out on the 6th, so I'll probably get mine then. Maybe once this semester ends I'll have a chance to start some reading!

Thanks Cheska! We actually know eachother. I sat in front of you in sociology with my sister.

Hey I'm new to all nurses and actually decided to come to this site because of the board at orientation!!!! :)

Anyways.... I am in pod #8 for the first part of the semester but really wanted to be in Pod #7 to have my med math teacher for lab. But I am happy with the other teacher too. I was reasssured they are alot alike. I will now have the same teacher for lab and lecture which might be beneficial. But I do have a question about the theory class that on our papers from orientation is listed as T, R 9-11 I registered for my classes and on my schedule it is listed as M R 9-11. Has anyone got a concrete answer on this issue. Is it T, R or M R.

I cannot wait for this semester to be over and start the nursing classes anyone in Pod #8, or anyone in the program at all, please message me I want to know as many people as possible. Pods #5,6, and 7 we will have theory together too.

Can't wait to see you all in the program :)

Haha! That's awesome -- and since I have kept in touch with your sis (via) FB, I know that she doesn't have children, so I know who you are (not going to put your name on here). ;)

Congrats on getting so far!! You are doing awesome! Next semester is your last, right? Wow, I hear Med Surg III is a bear, so kudos to you for getting this far! :dancgrp:

I love this sight, and have learned soooo much!!! :[anb]:

I am in Pod 11 (thankfully- I really needed to be at Western).

I understand your concern about the scheduling conflict. I had heard that what they said at orientation was correct, but if your actual registration shows differently, it definitely needs to be questioned. I am hoping to register today, and hope that it reflects what we were told at orientation. I really need to get my work schedule figured out, and not knowing if what is on the Pod list is concrete, I'm hesitant to do so.

Congrats, and good luck!

Yep thats me!! I still have 2 test in m/s 3 but so far so good. I had a tough time in m/s 2 at the end. You are very lucky to have your teachers they are AWESOME!!! They really want to help you succed unlike it feels like with other instuctors.

Oh go by whats on your list you got at lottery.

Nope, no books yet. I'm going to get them first thing Monday morning. They ran out of Anat/Phys books before both of my A/P classes, and ever since then, I always get the important books ASAP. I'm sure they won't run out of the books, but what can I say? I'm paranoid. :lol2:

I registered for the classes on Monday, and when I log into WebGate, the classes I got match the sheets we got, not the schedule book. When you say "my schedule," do you mean your printout of your classes, or your schedule book? I do now recall someone saying that the schedule book is wrong, and the sheets are correct. Log in to WG and go to Student > Registration > Week at a Glance, then click "Next week" until you can see the first week of Spring classes. Your schedule/hours should match the sheet. If not, I'd definitely call the nursing office.

Cayles1102 I just called the Nursing office because my register slip doesnt match up with the one I got at lottery either. She said pay attention to the one I got at lottery NOT the registration slip. I do remeber them saying the book was wrong at orientation but I didnt expect my registration slip not to match. So I called them. I hope nobody gets confused and go on the wrong day!

Good luck on your last two tests! I'm trying to finish up this CRAPPY semester. LOL! I took a Med First Responder course and the workload is astounding. I am soooo ready to be done. :uhoh3: I guess it's just preparing me for next semester.

I am definitely hearing good things about the two. I was worried at first, because I had heard some brutally negative things about the one, but during orientation she seemed very straight-forward/no nonsense, and that's what I love!
