Renewal RN License -Pain CE

Hello Everyone! I moved to Oregon October of 2015 and this will be my first time renewing my license in Oregon. Does anyone have good websites to go through to be able to complete my 6 CE hours? I looked online through the OSBN and went through the sites available, it was $35 for 1.75CE and $20 for 1CE. Is this normal? It looked to have only three courses available for pain or is there a booklet that you can fill out and pay one fee for all 6hours? To top it off I did not realize that in Oregon your license expires the day before your birthday. HELP!! My birthday is less than two weeks away. Thank you!!

Shoot, thanks for the heads up! Mine expires this summer - had no idea about the pain modules, but the prices you quote for CEs sounds about right.

So I just went to the OSBN website to update my information, and when I clicked on "update continuing education" I read this:

Only advanced practice nurses and Certified Medication Aides are required to obtain continuing education (CE) credits to renew their licenses/certificates. However, Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses also may use this feature to keep track of any CE they take for their own uses.

I'm an LPN here and required to do the same. When I renewed, I did the course on the BON website and then used medlineuniversity.com for free CEU's. They have plenty of pain related topics that work for the requirement, you can print the certificate too and it stores in your profile.

When I renew my nursing license this year October 2017; there is a question since you last renewed, has any professional license, certificate, registration or permit you hold or have held been disciplined or are formal charges pending any state? My question is do I answer yes or no because my license was disciplined in 2014 and the board of nursing has my file and when I last renewed in 2015 I of course answered yes, do I answer yes again for 2017 and if I do I have to keep answering yes every 2 years? PLEASE HELP??? Do I answer yes again or no????

My license was disciplined in the past because I answered no on a renewal question before that I was confused about.
