Starting a thread for any others applying to OHSU's ABSN-DNP programs!

Got the email today that I was placed as "highly likely" on the alternate list. Searching through some threads from previous cohorts, seems like people were starting to hear back in the beginning of April. I was trying to find the date that accepted students need to accept/decline acceptance by, but I couldn't find anything online. Historically it was April 1st or 2nd! I am planning on emailing admissions to ask about that date, but registration starts in mid-May so it would need to be decently before that I am assuming. 🙂

I emailed them asking for the admissions counselor since I am on the "highly likely" and they responded with "Please note that we cannot provide feedback on your application at this time as we are currently processing applications. Students will be able to request advising calls to discuss applications starting Spring 2025 (April).”…. What does it mean that they are currently processing applications? Don't people get waitlisted AFTER they choose applicants?

The admissions team is still working on reviewing the ABSN (without DNP component) applications - people who applied to just the ABSN haven't received any decisions yet. So they're probably saying that the admissions team is really busy with that and they'll only have time to give individual feedback once that application cycle is complete!

I actually got my offer on Monday and I accepted! Hopefully they'll start working down the list more this week.
