I can’t find a thread for this program so figured I would start one. I was wondering if anyone has got a confirmation their application was received?

@orneryscientist Congrats, and best of luck to you! I have a friend who was offered an interview at OHSU a couple of weeks prior to the interview dates last year, which is in-line with what @nataduma mentioned as well!

Thank you! I was accepted into the ABSN programs at University of Tennessee Knoxville and University of Massachusetts. Waitlisted for Simmons University direct entry MSN program. My end goal is to become an FNP, but number one school choice is OHSU since I'm from Portland and OHSU has a great nursing program. Did you apply to any others?

That's great! I did, applied to a bunch all over. I'm already accepted into Duquesne in Pittsburgh for the Fall, applied to three MSN programs, and 5 ABSN. OHSU is my top choice as well, but otherwise I'm hoping to get into a school in Kansas City (I know, random haha) or Boston! My goal is PNP! Good luck to us both!!!

Thanks! Same haha, even if I only get into Pittsburgh, at least I can go there! I almost applied to a school in Tennessee too, but didn't have one class and couldn't find anywhere to take it. I also applied to North Carolina so we won't be far from each other if thats how it ends up ?

Hey all!

I am happy to finally find a thread. I applied to the ABSN program at OHSU, but am disappointed that they do not give grants to second bachelors students... are other people concerned about finances? Also congratulations to those who have already gotten interviews and good luck to everyone else!

Unfortunately that’s pretty typical for a second bachelors program especially for a public school. Make sure you fill out the scholarship application on the website.
