Hi all!

Just got the email (Feb 18th) for an invitation to interview for the ABSN program at Portland Campus—Friday, Feb 28th, Group 4A, 1:00pm.

Thanks to everyone posting suggestions about interview preparation, questions, and general encouragement. I'll be doing a bit of preparation in the next few days; good luck to everyone!

Hey all!

I got an email yesterday (Feb 20) for an invitation to interview for the ABSN program in Ashland on Friday, March 13!

I was wondering if anyone knew who soon we hear back from the school about decisions after interviews? I thought it was about a week, but now I cannot find confirmation for this.

They are both usually fine touristy hotels, nothing crazy, good location. I've eaten at the Winchester Inn and love it/it seems like a great hotel, but I have no experience staying there.

I’m not sure about the Ashland decisions, but I know Portland decisions will be released at latest, 3 weeks after interviews. Check the application confirmation email from the admissions office for info.

On a previous email from OHSU when I submitted my application they said this "Final decisions will be sent out via email no more than 3 weeks after interviews occur. "

hi again! does everyone on the 13th have a group interview? my email for the 14th says I have individual interviews as well as the proctored essay. Anyone interviewing the 14th? ?

Got an interview for ABSN Portland feb 27th group 3B at 11:30 am. Anyone in that group it'll be nice to have a familiar face and probably discuss interview questions. I'm so nervous! Pls reach out [email protected].

hi again! does everyone on the 13th have a group interview? my email for the 14th says I have an individual interview with 5 stations. Anyone interviewing the 14th? ?

Woops just reread the email - no group interview! I just assumed based on previous discussion forums ??‍♀️

Has everyone here gotten an interview invite? I haven't received one ? I would at least like to know if I got rejected so I can stop checking my email every hour! lol

Must say, I'm a little jelly, but congrats to everyone and good luck nonetheless. Also, I'm glad I found this forum, I didn't even consider to look for one before.

Did you apply to the Portland ABSN? Interviews for the Portland ABSN are Feb 27 and 28. I think the first wave of invites went out February 7th ish (3 weeks out) and the second wave February 14th ish (2 weeks out).

Maybe they might have another wave today (1 week out)? I’m not sure. I think generally they aim to invite people with 2ish weeks notice to their interviews though. You could always call/email admissions and ask just in case!
