Opinions on the right Lpn path in South Jersey...

Published

Hi all, I've been a member for a few years but had a family tragedy in NY soon after joining. I moved back to South Jersey and am finally prepared to get on MY path. I will be applying at Camden County College's LPN program for next year. Getting Pre-req's out the way but I would like different opinions which school would have an great LPN-BSN program. My heart's desire would be a CRNA. Opinions on Camden's Lpn program, Teas & C-net test advice and pretty much anything folks want to add is encouraged. Thanks

Have you thought about going straight to RN?

Moved to the NJ State Nursing Programs forum to elicit further response.

There are no LPN-BSN programs in NJ and very few in the US. Most colleges consider LPN to be a vocational course not a collegiate course so many of the classes don't transfer at the collegiate level. There are many LPN-RN programs, the majority are at the county college level. You can view a list of currently BoN approved LPN and RN programs at the board of nursing website, as well as the most recent NCLEX pass rates here: New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs - Board of Nursing

Best of luck in your future endeavors!
