Hello. I'll be preparing for the TEAS exam for January, 10. And I'm hoping that someone could give their opinion about these two particular study manual.
So far, the study manual in the link below, has the overall better on Amazon in comparison to other's.
But I found it odd considering that it was published March of 2016.

I have both books. I mainly used the official book and the official online practice tests due to time constraints. There were only maybe 2 or 3 questions that I found on my actual exam that wasn't covered in the official book. I had the original TEAS 6 official book with all the errors in it which wasn't that hard to work around. I read this book cover to cover and answered all the questions it contained.
I wished I hadn't purchased the Mometrix book. A good portion of it is available for free via their YouTube channel the only difference is that with the book you get a code for each individual video and the ones on YouTube have each section bundled in into one long video. But don't get my wrong, there is nothing actually wrong with the book itself.
I scored an overall composite score of 86.0 using 98% official study aids and 2% Mometrix. In my humble opinion, the best tool was the online practice tests as it made me more comfortable taking the test itself. (The online practice tests are expensive, though). Your miles may vary as everyone finds different thing helpful in studying for standardized tests.
Good Luck! :)
Awesome! Thank you for opinion, much appreciate.

Hey! I just took practice test A and B. I got 87% on test A and 78% on test B. How would you relate the practice test to the actual tests? Also, what did you score on the practice tests?

Hey there! I took both practice tests as well. I found practice test A to be much closer to the actual teas test. Test B was much harder for me. I scored an 81% on A and 75% on B. ended up getting an 86.7% on my actual teas test - 96 percentile. I think you are in a good place with these results on the practice test! good luck! let me know if you have anymore questions.

@mnurse96 I just took my teas exam 6 the other day after only having a little over a week and a half to study for it. I bought the ATI study manual and took the practice test A before taking my actual exam. I scored a 71.9 on my practice exam, and then an 81 on my actual teas test. I had been completely stressed over this test, but the actual test wasn't as bad as the practice one, in my opinion. Just make sure you read over the science section, because that has the most number of questions on the test. Best of luck!

What would you say makes practice exam B harder than exam A? I only purchased B since there is a general consensus that version B was more difficult. I figure it was better to study what was more difficult.

Hi, I am trying to study for the ati teas with short time in my hands. I must pass on my first try. Where can I find the official practice tests A and B. I already have the Mometrix. Do you suggest the official book as well?

I know this is an old thread, but for those looking. I agree that the Mometrix book goes into more detail, but I disagree that the practice tests are harder, well, at least the science portion. I'm scoring 88 to 90 on the science practice tests in Mometrix, and many of those I missed were just stupid mistakes; Mid 70s on the science quiz in the official study manual and an 82 on TEST A. I'm going to hold off on TEST B until a few days before the TEAS.
I think some of the math stuff looks a little trickier in Mometrix, and I've heard the actual TEAS math is relatively simple.
