What is the best way to prep for the CNOR? CCI? AORN live? Etc?

That's really going to depend on your own learning style and needs. I did an online independent review and passed on the first try. Others just wouldn't mesh with that route.

I purchased a practice exam from CCI and their box of flash cards. Took the exam and saw what areas I was weak in. Then reviewed the AORN guidelines pertaining to those areas. Flipped through the cards once to get used to the question style. That's it. I'm not much of a studier though.

Any chance I can take those flash cards off of your hands? They said they were out of them until January 2018. =/ My exam date is in December. Thanks.

You may want to just wait for January- I was looking at some copyright dates on review material from CCI that I have access to. It looks like they publish new editions every 2 years and that may be why the flashcards are currently unavailable. You'd get the most recent and relevant review material.

I used Wendy Zander's CNOR prep course you can attend live lectures or watch them online and you get a booklet with slides on it. I did it online and watched the lectures twice- once about two months before the test and once right before the test. I also did the pocket prep app on my phone sporadically. That's all I did and passed the first try. I feel like the Zander course really made the difference, almost everything on the test was discussed in her lectures.
