I know it's early, but let's get a thread going. 2015-hopefuls, share your thoughts, concerns, questions, and experiences here!

My GPA in my last 5 FCEs is 4.0 (on U of Ts 4.0 scale). I'm not too sure how they are sending out their acceptances, but I'm pretty sure they just started sending them out last week so there must still be lots of seats left! I hope you hear back soon :)

Okay great, thanks! My GPA in my last 5 FCEs is 3.82 out of 4.0 so I'm hoping that is good enough!

Just got offered a conditional offer for Queens! Anyone else in the same boat?

I have accepted my offer at Queens, so that has opened up a seat at Trent!

Anyone still have 'missing requirements' on their Humber app?

Anyone still have 'missing requirements' on their Humber app?

Mine still says missing requirements even though my status yesterday updated to waitlisted. My missing requirement is a completed degree though, and I am in my final semester so I am assuming it will stay there until they receive my final transcript.

oh alright! mine still says 'no decision'

So I am still playing the waiting game.

Hey!

For all of you who have applied to UofT, maybe you could help me out?

I received an email at the beginning of March from admission services saying that I needed to send in transcripts from UofT School of Continuing Studies to prove enrolment in SCS 2159 for my physiology credit (like a dunce, I assumed that they could get the transcripts themselves since they're UofT transcripts even though it says right on the the BScN admissions website that you need to do it yourself). I ended up getting it in late past the deadline. Does anyone know if this will adversely affect my application? I'm already assuming the worst - that they won't even look at it unless space is available. If anyone knows, or has been in a similar situation and can calm my nerves, that would be awesome!

Thanks!

Hey! I actually e-mailed uofT today about a similar issue because I submitted my documents on time but then got confused about something and submitted one again after the deadline. I got a response from them within half an hour so I would recommend sending an e-mail to [email protected]. I am hopeful that if you explain the situation they will not delay reviewing your application! Fingers crossed!

if you don't mind me asking, when did you submit your application?

Hey everyone! Thanks for responding so quickly! I actually did email them on Friday, then tried again today. They responded today in about a half hour. Apparently I'm not to worry, just got to make sure that I send them the finished transcripts when I'm done. Phew!

Guess I'm just patiently waiting to hear about whether I'm accepted or not now :)

No, you should be fine. They are still accepting and reviewing. There is no way that your application was pushed aside. I am sure that once they receive the proof they will pull up your application.

Hey guys,

I graduated from UofT in 2011 but I recently took some courses at Athabasca University. Would these courses be considered to be transfer credits?? I don't think they are because I have already graduated and I think that transfer credits are used for to count for your degree at another Uni. I could be wrong though.

Any input would help! Thanks.

I submitted it the week before the deadline. My humber account says the application was received on Jan. 26.
