Hey everyone!
I haven't seen a post for Fall 2021 yet so here it is!
My choices are:
1. UofT
2. McMaster
3. Nipissing SPP
I started my OUAC application in November and now trying to work on the supplemental packages. My CASPer Test is on January 12, 2021.
I need to take Anatomy and Physio course(s) however, I'm having a hard time figuring out what would satisfy the requirements from all three universities. My options so far are:
1. Take CBLG 101 in Winter and CBLG 111 in Spring at Ryerson. However final grade will be in June; hoping that's fine. This satisfies all 3 unis
2. Take SCS 2159 in Winter from UofT which is enough for UofT and McMaster but not for Nipissing. I have to take an Anatomy course just for Nip.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from back home, been working as an RECE in Toronto the last 8 years, have a Diploma in Nonprofit Management at Ryerson. My cGPA is 3.55 which I'm worried about. Lots of extra curricular activities from university and volunteering here in Toronto. I still have to compute the GPA for the last two years.
I requested WES to send my transcripts to Nip and McMaster and asked my old uni to send to UofT.
It's been an expensive application so far; really hoping I get in! Looking forward to chatting with you all and sharing our experiences.

Basically you want to aim for the least amount of sentences/words in your answers but also want to be as clear as possible.
Because I'm a pretty fast typer, I didn't focus on my typing speed; however, if you are slow, then I would practice on that.
For my answers, I would aim for 4-6 sentences (it can be point formed). They would include the problem (why it's difficult), discuss all perspectives (both pros and cons), and what you would do. You don't need to add words to make it "look longer". They really don't care, and only focus on what YOU would do during that situation.
That's a very general summary, but I would just focus on that if I were you! I would also go on the CASPer website or Google some practice questions ?

Thank you!! My sub-GPA was on the lower end, I believe around a 3.6. I did feel pretty good about my CASPer since I was in a similar situation 4 years ago. In 2017, I was accepted to the basic stream at Mac with ~87% so I'm guessing my CASPer boosted me both times!

Thank you! Congrats on your offer!

thanks! I recommend familiarizing yourself with the format really well (the practice questions and info on their website really helped me) but honestly a lot of it comes down to your honest/innate reaction to the situation you're presented with. This will also help you with the time limit.
Make sure you're somewhere you can read the questions and your answers aloud. Talking yourself through your chosen course of action and how you came to that conclusion helps formulate your response!
You can fine tune your typing speed for sure! I did about 5 fully-typed sentences for each response. I stayed away from all the practice and advice videos online because I didn't want to overwhelm myself. I also made a little list of personal experiences and feelings/terms that I used to prepare for my test. Good luck!

wow congrats! more seats, that’s great to hear! if you don’t mind me asking, what was your last two years’ GPA and how do you think the casper went for you?
