Ontario Second Entry Nursing Fall 2020

Hey, I used to creep these forums for the past few years and they helped affirm my decision to apply to nursing school for Fall 2020. I didn't see one started for next year so I thought, why not start one?

I graduated a while back so I'm a bit older, but my top three choices are:

1. Queen's

2. McMaster

3. York

4. Humber-UNB

I graduated in April 2019 my 5 FCE GPA was 3.85 and cGPA3.81. Took part in a lot of research as an undergrad (at UofT and Ryerson), received research awards, and even did some poster presentations, I also did a lot of educational outreach and played sports!

No I have not ? I am graduating this year and still waiting on my Winter grades to be updated on my transcript so I can send it to u of t. So I was wondering if it's mainly people who have graduated at least in December 2019 or earlier who are getting acceptances right now or if there's any who's graduating this year and already got an acceptance. My grades are more stronger in my entire fourth year than my third year and I think they are taking in third year and fourth year grades for those who have not received all their Winter grades yet ? I only applied to u of t so I am a bit worried.

Hi! I applied to UofT, and I am also in my last bit of fourth year. I think you might be right on they are currently giving out offers for people who already have degrees. Keep hanging there! I think maybe in early May they will start admitting people like us!

Oh no ? I'm sure there are a lot of people in the same boat as you and admissions acknowledges that don't worry ~ it seems like they're going to release a batch of acceptances every week from now till June! Stay strong, I'm routing for you!

Congratulation! I went back and read your first post, and I am so happy for you to get accepted this year! You totally deserve it, and you are such an amazing person! I also went through traumas during my undergrad with UofT, and I certainly look up to you in this journey, and you are so strong! Hopefully I will get admitted this year or next year, you gave me so much hope!

Thanks!! I really hope so good luck to you too hopefully we both get in! I even emailed my profs to ask an estimated time of when I will receive my grades, because I have received 2/5 grades so far. But for one of my courses, they said it will only be uploaded by April 28th which is a bit late, and it will take time to send in my official transcripts since I did my undergrad from McMaster and not UofT.
