I am an Ontario RPN, I have completed the CPRNE. What qualifications does a Ontario RPN need to meet BC regulation? Another exam maybe? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

The CPRNE is anational exam and you only have to pass it once. You can apply to the college of nurses in BC for a BC license. It will take about three months and you will have to pay a fee.

Also, don't expect job offers to be plentiful. BC is an "old girls network" type of place and preference seems to always be given to locals despite what experience you may have. It also depends on the facilities but some really restrict your scope of practice.

Yes Fiona has a good point. I have learned from reading on here that the scope for PNs in BC is far narrower than other provinces.
