Anyone applying to NP school in Ontario for the year 2025?

Would love to have a discussion started for acceptances, etc.

I haven't hard from UofT awards/scholarships yet. I am hoping we hear back from them soon because the program is quite expensive.

I'm really hoping we hear back in the next few days!

I submitted my UofT application after Jan 15th... but I submitted the form for the awards before the 15th. Would I still be eligible? Does anyone know?

And are the awards only available for full time students? I applied for part time for the post-masters stream.

I had asked the admissions office about this as well and this was the response I received from them:

"Yes, you must have all your required documents (including references) submitted by Jan 15, 2025 so be sure to let your referees aware of this deadline too. If they are late by a few days that's okay, but definitely ask them to aim for Jan 15."

Ahh good to know, thank you!

Is it safe to say UofT is done sending out offers? 😒

I want to know when to count my losses and start my healing process 😅

I feel like it's too early for that? I would imagine they send out offers until at least mid May, considering the final application deadline in April 30th. Right? I'm not sure, but I'm also starting to get anxious about that and not sure where I stand. I regretfully didn't submit my application until mid-March, but I didn't know it would be such an issue.

I think u of t continues to send out offers through to may, by then you have either rejection or admission

Has anyone reached out to the faculty to ask? There were 151 seats in past years, wondering where they land now.

From what I read, they have about ~100 for MM-NP and 15 for the PMNP. Then the rest for the clinical and HSLA MN spots. This is what they had said in the last years program session.

To give you guys some hope, my friend got her offer from York for MNNP on July 1st. But I dunno if I can wait that long 🥲

I've just got accepted to McMaster for the FT program. Decision to be made by April 9th!

Congratulations!! Did they send you an email or did you have to go on the portal to check?
May I ask what your GPA and experience was?
