Ontario BScN Accelerated Program Fall 2022

Hello future nursing students,

I just wanted to make a post as we enter the new academic year, and more importantly the next admission cycle. Hopefully through this post we can all share our admission experiences, concerns, and achievements. 

To begin with, I am currently a University of Toronto student completing my final year! I am hoping to apply to UBC, UofT, Nipissing, Western, and Trent. Just waiting on applications to open up! I am slightly worried I may not get in because admission is so competitive, and seeing those with 3.9+ not get in can be very scary.

How about you? Are you excited for the new school year? Any concerns for the admission process? Let's get through this together

Has anyone had an update in their Trent status? I got an email about an offer and no follow-up email regarding any retraction. However, no status has changed in the myTrent as well as the OUAC site.

Does anyone know if McMaster look at the marks for this Winter semester (Winter 2022) before offering admission around May?

Has anyone heard from Western lately? I know a few offers were sent out at toward the beginning of March but it seems like there has been nothing since.

I haven't heard from them yet. When did you write your Casper? I wrote mine on Feb 1st. I wonder if the offers were sent to those wrote it early?

I wrote mine on Jan 13th and didn't receive an offer yet. I wonder if it was sent to those who already completed pre reqs?

I wrote mine on Feb 1st too! Haven't finished my pre reqs yet either. I haven't heard of anyone getting offers after that one day so maybe so far they've only done one round?

I wrote my CASPer on January 13th and I got an offer, so I think it probably has to do with the prereqs!

no, Winter 2022 grades are not used to calculate your GPA for mac admission

I wrote mine on Jan 13th. I am still completing one prerequisite though. 

Hopefully they start sending more soon!
